Mike Wells, Founding Director, who serves on the UK Design Council as Built Environment Expert and on the Bristol Urban Design Forum has just been appointed to the South West Design Review Panel. The panel is a proven mechanism for raising design standards. Established in 2005, SWDRP is based at 'Creating Excellence', the South West member of the England-wide Design Network. The panel is chaired by Professor Peter Clegg (Architect and Royal Designer For Industry) and reviews development projects from all localities within the South West, providing 'independent, multi-disciplinary, expert advice – a candid friend, supporting whenever we can, seeking explanations, discussing options, identifying opportunities, and sometimes calling for a rethink'.
